Eggnog to Order
serves one
1 ounce heavy cream
1 ounce whole milk
¾ ounce sugar
1 egg
2 ounces bourbon
2 ice cubes
Whole nutmeg, for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, combine the cream, milk, sugar, egg, and bourbon. Shake well. Add two ice cubes to the shaker and shake again. Strain into a serving glass and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
