Cut from the shoulder, these succulent steaks are great for the grill, broiler, or skillet, especially covered in your favorite rub or marinated; just be sure to cook to a medium pink to keep them from getting chewy. Pork is an excellent source of protein, as well as thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, and vitamin B6.

Keep refrigerated. Previously Frozen. Best if used within 5 days of receipt.

Stovetop

  • Pat the pork dry with a paper towel; season with salt and pepper.
In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, warm 1 to 2 tablespoons oil until hot but not smoking. Add the pork and cook, turning once and pressing occasionally with a spatula to ensure the meat cooks evenly, until browned and cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
